HELP

Why is the Videochat ActiveX will not install on my computer.

The Video Chat uses a very recent technology that requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP and the Internet Explorer browser to run. It will not run on Windows 95, 98, ME or on MAC OS. Make sure you click the yellow bar at the top of the screen and choose "install Active X control".

I cannot see any video, is there a solution?

1. Change your desktop property settings from 16 to 32 bit. Desktop/right click/properties/settings and change to 32 bit.
2. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and upgrade your DirectX drivers.
3. Do you have Nimo codec pack or another spyware codec pack installed? Go to add/remove programs and remove it. It causes problems with orangeyes.
4. Use the program that came with your webcam to set the RGB level to its highest setting.

Do I need to have a webcam to use Orangeyes?

No. You don-t have to have a webcam to see people in video chat rooms, or in 1-on-1 connections, but it is unlikely anyone will want to talk to someone without a webcam. Webcams are now quite affordable and some can be found for around 25 dollars.

I see that there is a Settings button in the chat but I don-t seem to be able to change them.

You need to be signed out of the chat before clicking on settings to be able to edit them.

When I open the chat I have that message that says "Too small window, please resize."

If you did try to maximize your window and the message still there then you will have to change your PC screen resolution to at least 1024 X 768.

Does your video chat room software contain adware or spyware?

We will never install any spyware or adware with our software.

I have more questions, who should I contact?
